Behavior first
Focus on the moment a rule becomes negotiable.
Rewired exists for the gap between knowing the plan and changing it in the moment. The work turns common pressure patterns into decisions a trader can observe, name and redesign.
I traded by hand for three and a half years. I had a strategy, a setup and clear rules for when to get in and when to get out. Following them was the part I couldn’t do.
My friends who trade had the same trouble, and their advice never changed: set your rules and stick to them. I tried. Then I’d go all in on one trade, take a margin call and blow another account. The good stretches got longer, but the pattern kept coming back. I switched strategies. I started a journal and dropped it after five days. Each new plan held for a while, then faded.
Three years in, I started building trading bots and algorithms, and one question stayed with me: why is it so hard to do the thing you know makes money? I spent a week of late nights going through the research. What I found became the first version of this book, and I wrote it for myself. The longer I used it, the more I wanted other traders to have it. I’d spent far more on challenges than this book costs, and it’s what I wish I had read first.
If this sounds like you, read the first two chapters free. Chapter 0 is day nine of a challenge and why so many fail there. Chapter 1 follows a London-open trade gone wrong, shows what happens in your brain and gives you the first rule.
